Job Description We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our pediatric dental and orthodontic practice. As the first point of contact for our dental office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental or medical administrative support role and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the office calendar
  • Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with billing inquiries
  • Collect patient information, update records, and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and timely treatment
  • Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of dental office procedures, terminology, and insurance processes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, staff, and external contacts
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
