Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist/ Call Center Representative to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist/Call Center Representative, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring smooth operations in a medical office setting. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our practice. Positions Avail in Cedar Knolls, Paterson/Clifton area and Succasunna, NJ.- Interview and on the job trainig will be held in our Succasunna Location for atleast one month
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the office calendar
- Collect patient information, update records, and verify insurance coverage
- Coordinate patient check-in and check-out processes
- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
- Handle billing inquiries and process payments accurately
- Scheduling of Procedures in-house and with hospitals
- Other job duties that are not lsited listed that may arrise as the company expands
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a medical office or similar administrative role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using phone systems and office equipment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy
- Bilingual is a plus
- May have to cover in our other locations on occasion Join our team as a Medical Receptionist/Call Center Representative and contribute to providing exceptional care to our patients.
