Job Overview Join our dental practice as a Dental Receptionist, where your welcoming attitude will set the tone for an exceptional patient experience. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, handling medical and dental administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to a positive environment, supporting both patient care and office efficiency. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and provide outstanding customer service at the front desk, ensuring a positive first impression. Answer phone calls and schedule appointments efficiently using Dentrix. Verify patient insurance coverage, process payments, and handle medical billing. Manage patient records with meticulous attention to confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations Coordinate communication between patients, dental providers, and insurance companies via phone and electronic correspondence. Maintain organized medical records and ensure all documentation aligns with clinical confidentiality policies. Process and submit patient insurance claims. General office administrative tasks. Skills Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite for administrative support tasks. Previous clinic or dental office experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with front desk operations and medical office management but not required. Exceptional customer service skills combined with phone etiquette and professional communication abilities. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining clinical confidentiality at all times.
