Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team! Duties Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes with professionalism and enthusiasm Schedule appointments using electronic health record (EHR) systems Modmed EMA Verify patient insurance information, process medical collections, and handle billing inquiries with support from billing department Maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, providing clear communication and appointment confirmations Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar medical administrative support role, preferably within clinics or dental offices Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as EMA Familiarity with medical terminology, clinical confidentiality policies, and health information management practices Experience with medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10) and medical billing processes is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and office management tasks Knowledge of health insurance procedures, Medicare regulations, and office equipment operation Join our team where your proactive attitude and dedication can truly enhance patient experiences!
