Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth operation at the front desk, contributing to a positive experience for all who enter our facility. This role is perfect for a motivated individual who wats to be part of the Dental field. You will be working under an experienced Office manager. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Call patients and make sure the schedule is full. Manage incoming calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel. Maintain and update patient records in accordance with privacy regulations. Assist with medical billing processes and ensure proper documentation is completed. Provide excellent patient service by addressing concerns and answering questions promptly. Collaborate with other office staff to ensure efficient workflow and communication. Utilize software for managing patient information and scheduling. Experience Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred. The ability and self motivation to keep the doctor's schedule filled. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally. Proficiency in office software applications; experience with Athenahealth is a plus. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for this position. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
