From full diagnostic vascular ultrasonography to an individualized treatment plan, patients enjoy a comprehensive experience in the care of their varicose and spider veins. Located in Paramus, NJ, our facility boasts 7,000 sq. feet of contemporary design and spacious clerical and clinical areas. Medical Front Desk Coordinator Hours :
Full-time; Office hours Monday - Thursday 7am - 5pm Reports to : Chief of Operations The Front Desk Coordinator performs administrative duties at the front desk while greeting patients, scheduling, confirming appointments, and collecting / completing payments and paperwork, respectively.
Minimum Requirements:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred 2. Minimum of 1 year in administrative experience in a medical office 3. Must have reliable transportation to work.

- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry. Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Must be professional in appearance, tone, and delivery and an effective communicator
- Dedicated to follow-through and results
- Very detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
- Flexibility as it relates to schedule, responsibilities, and priorities
- The ability to interact with, support, and influence positively the behavior and activities of referring physicians, superiors, and staff/co-employees
- Must be an exceptional listener
- The ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer the phone in a friendly, timely, and professional manner
- Obtain completed new patient forms. Scan IDs and Insurance cards
- Collect necessary information for patient appointments. Verify insurance. Obtain referral information. Confirm appointments and eligibility. Advise billing department of changes in deductible/coverage.
- Check patients in and inform providers of their arrival. Collect copays and patient balances at time of service.
- Ensure procedures are authorized before the procedure is performed
- Offer payment plans and review options if necessary
- Schedule and confirm appointments in EMR. Notify providers directly of any changes to his/her schedule
- Provide assistance to patients who need transportation or a language interpreter
- Train new hires as needed
- Maintain the appearance and function of all office equipment and facilities. Manage coffee areas, manage office music
- Respond to all emails and calls in a timely manner
- Attend/complete company meetings and/or training as assigned
- Perform all other duties as assigned Possible extra support to Clinical Team
- Provide support to patients and clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow through the office as needed:
- Stocking measurements
Compensation:
- Starting salary $22-24/hour
