Job Description
Metro Eye Care is a busy ophthalmology and optometry practice with several offices in Bergen County. We are seeking hard-working and dedicated individuals to grow with our practice. Excellent patient service, a strong work ethic, and pride in your work will be important attributes, as you will be the face of the practice. Your daily routine will encompass many tasks that can include, but are not limited to the following: Greeting patients as the face of the practice. Answering phone calls, confidently answering questions and directing people to the proper department or taking proper messages. Schedule and/or reschedule patient appointments. Entering and verifying patient demographics, insurance, etc. Collect patient payments, such as copays, surgical fees and refractions fees. Communicating with patients, other staff and doctors. Communicating with insurance companies and patients to obtain patient referrals, authorizations and other information. Light filing, scanning, and other tasks to support other staff, patients and doctors.
