- We are seeking a Full-Time Medical Receptionist to join a busy and growing specialty medical practice in Shrewsbury, NJ.

- The Medical Receptionist will serve as one of the first points of contact for patients and will play an important role in creating a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and welcoming manner
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
- Enter and update patient demographic information in the electronic medical record
- Pull, organize, and file medical charts and records
- Answer phones and assist patients with general questions
- Support physicians, office management, and other staff as needed
- Maintain a professional and organized front-desk environment
- Provide excellent customer service to patients of all ages
Qualifications:
- Previous medical office, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical insurance and insurance verification is a plus
- Experience with Epic or another electronic medical record system is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced medical office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional, friendly, and patient-focused approach
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
