Job Description
Dental Receptionist / Treatment Coordinator We're a family-owned and operated dental office in South Brunswick looking for a personable, organized Dental Treatment Coordinator / Receptionist to join our front office team. We are not owned by any corporation — you'll be part of a close-knit practice that genuinely values its staff and its patients. Building real relationships with patients is a core part of who we are. Open to both new grads and experienced front office staff. We offer schedule flexibility and would love to discuss what works for you. Responsibilities Greet patients and manage front desk operations with a warm, professional demeanor Answer phones, schedule and confirm appointments, and manage the daily schedule Present treatment plans and financial options to patients; discuss costs and payment arrangements Verify insurance benefits, process claims, and handle billing questions Coordinate patient flow between the front desk and clinical team Follow up with patients on treatment acceptance and outstanding balances Maintain accurate patient records in practice management software Support case presentation and help patients feel confident moving forward with treatment Requirements Prior experience in a dental or medical office preferred (treatment coordination or front desk experience a plus) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable discussing treatment costs and financial arrangements with patients Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable with dental practice management software (training provided) Schedule Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Friday, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM No weekends Benefits 401(k) with matching Dental insurance Health insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid time off
