Job Description

  • Transferring existing patient charts into the office's new digital platform
  • Greeting patients and parents of the practice
  • Checking patients in and out
  • Answering incoming phone calls
  • Scheduling/ confirming appointments
  • Verifying patient insurance
  • Acquiring pre-authorizations
  • Submitting dental claims
  • Handling patient payments appropriately
  • Managing the patient calendar
  • Managing the office email/ correspondence with parents and other offices if necessary
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor and positive attitude as the first and last point of contact of patients and parents in the office
  • Working closely with the dental team to facilitate effective communication and coordination
  • Contributing to a patient-focused collaborative culture
  • Pay is negotiable and based on education and experience
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
