Job Description
- Transferring existing patient charts into the office's new digital platform
- Greeting patients and parents of the practice
- Checking patients in and out
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Scheduling/ confirming appointments
- Verifying patient insurance
- Acquiring pre-authorizations
- Submitting dental claims
- Handling patient payments appropriately
- Managing the patient calendar
- Managing the office email/ correspondence with parents and other offices if necessary
- Maintaining a professional demeanor and positive attitude as the first and last point of contact of patients and parents in the office
- Working closely with the dental team to facilitate effective communication and coordination
- Contributing to a patient-focused collaborative culture
- Pay is negotiable and based on education and experience
