Job Description

Job Summary
  • We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our growing dental practice in Albuquerque, NM 87114 . The Treatment Coordinator plays a critical role in patient experience by presenting treatment plans, reviewing insurance benefits, and ensuring patients clearly understand their dental care and financial options. Key Responsibilities
  • Present and explain treatment plans clearly and confidently to patients
  • Review insurance benefits and estimate patient out-of-pocket costs
  • Coordinate with dentists and clinical staff to ensure accurate treatment planning
  • Answer patient questions regarding procedures, insurance, and financing
  • Obtain pre-authorizations and track insurance approvals
  • Schedule treatment appointments efficiently to maximize chair time
  • Follow up with patients on unscheduled treatment plans
  • Collect payments, co-pays, and deductibles at time of service
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the PMS
  • Provide excellent customer service and build patient trust Qualifications & Skills
  • Prior experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator, Front Desk, or Insurance Coordinator Preferred
  • Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Experience with dental insurance verification and billing (PPO preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to explain financial information in a compassionate, clear manner
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Proficient with dental software (Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft, or similar)

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
