Job Summary We are seeking a cheerful, dependable, and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist who enjoys helping patients feel welcomed, cared for, and well-supported in a friendly Internal Medicine office. We are actively reviewing applications and hope to welcome the right candidate to our team for a long-term position soon. This part-time, in-office role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to outstanding patient service. The right candidate will be professional, reliable, organized, comfortable working independently, and interested in becoming a valued long-term member of our team, with option to transition into a full-time role depending on practice needs. Ideal Candidate Cheerful, positive, friendly, and professional in all patient and office interactions Dependable, reliable, and interested in a long-term position Detail-oriented, organized, and able to use critical thinking in a busy office setting Committed to outstanding patient service and patient confidentiality Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills Comfortable working independently and eager to learn Primary Responsibilities Greet patients, visitors, and callers in a warm, professional manner Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, make reminder calls, and document accurate notes in the patient chart Verify insurance information, check in patients, and collect co-payments Request documents and attach them correctly to patient charts Communicate with pharmacies, insurance companies, and other medical offices Keep the reception area tidy and welcoming Assist with other medical administrative tasks when needed Maintain electronic health records accurately and consistently Follow HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality rules MDVIP Program Support This position also plays a pivotal role in supporting our relationship with MDVIP and helping prospective patients understand the benefits of the program. Participate in training with our affiliate company, MDVIP Explain MDVIP program benefits to potential new patients in a clear manner Maintain the waiting list for prospective members and follow up regarding membership opportunities Arrange periodic Meet & Greet seminars for prospective patients

$20 per hour
