Part time is 24 hours weekly.
  • MUST HAVE 3-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST IN THE PRIVATE PRACTICE SETTING
  • We are seeking a Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and provide administrative support across the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome patients as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Process patient identification and insurance information accurately and relay to clinical staff. Check in patients politely with a smile.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
  • keep inventory of stock
Experience:
  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
Skills:
  • Medical receptionist experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of Medent EMR is a plus
  • Strong customer support skills
  • Familiarity with phone systems
  • Experience in a medical office setting is advantageous
  • Computer literacy including MS Office applications
  • Basic clerical skills such as filing, copying, and scanning documents
  • Exposure to event planning tasks is beneficial
  • Proficiency in data entry tasks
MUST HAVE 3-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST IN THE PRIVATE PRACTICE SETTING.
