Front Desk Receptionist Locations:
Coram, NY
FULL TIME!
! Are you a people-person with a passion for healthcare and great customer service? We're looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our growing, multi-specialty medical practice! You'll be the organized problem-solver who keeps our front desk running smoothly.
What You'll Do:
Greet and check-in/check-out patients with warmth and efficiency Answer incoming calls and make outgoing calls as needed Register new patients and input accurate information into our EMR system Schedule and confirm patient appointments Process payments (co-pays, self-pays, outstanding balances) Verify insurance coverage, referrals, and authorizations Deliver excellent patient service and ensure a positive experience
What We're Looking For:
At least 2 years of experience as a medical receptionist Proficiency with EMR and practice management systems Strong understanding of commercial insurances and Medicare Excellent communication and problem-solving skills A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can multitask with ease
