Cardea Health Integrative is WNY's premiere integrative health center, with a wide range of healing modalities at our facility just off the 400 in East Aurora, NY. We have created a destination wellness center and are looking for a motivated individual to join our team and help us continue to grow. We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to help organize our medical facility's functions. You will support day-to-day operations by performing administrative tasks, and ensuring high quality customer service for our patients. As a Medical Receptionist, you will perform various tasks on a daily basis. and you should be able to multitask and prioritize. We also expect you to handle sensitive information confidentially. If you are able to combine exceptional communication skills with an ability to perform 'behind the scenes' tasks, we would like to meet you. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our medical facility's smooth operation by accurately completing administrative tasks in a timely manner. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Update and maintain patients' health records (Power2Practice EHR experience a plus) Assist patients with initial paperwork, registration, and consent forms Schedule & coordinate appointments Learn and utilize EHR effectively and efficiently Handle patient point of sale transactions and maintain patient accounts Answer patients' queries and triage properly Ensure compliance with procedures Requirements Proven work experience as a Medical Receptionist Hands on experience with medical software and MS Office Knowledge of healthcare operations Familiarity with medical and insurance legislation Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Customer-oriented communication skills High school diploma; certification in medical administration is a plus
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
