Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Assist with backup coverage for medical assistants as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Bilingual in Korean and English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in using phone systems and computer software for scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Salary commensurate with prior experience and knowledge.
