You will work with a team of compassionate and skilled Physicians, APPs, and support staff who are passionate about providing the highest quality care to our patients. The position is for the following day(s) and hour(s) Monday to Friday between two shifts: 8am
- 4pm or 9am to 5pm It's a 30 hour work week
- 4 days (Tuesday to Friday) with the potential of increasing up to 37 hours a week.
Job Description:
. Looking for a motivated, organized and experienced medical receptionist to join our busy Gastroenterology office. GI experience preferred . Greet patients in a professional and welcoming manner.Responsibilities:
- Duties include greeting patients and visitors, check in/check out
- Verify Medical Insurance
- Managing patient records, update demographics information
- Scanning and answering high volume phone calls
- Collect copays, manage daily cash and handle billing inquiries.
- Schedule, confirm and modify patient appointments and procedures
- Process referrals and medical record requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Be Flexible with work hours
- Medical office and ECW experience a plus
- Bilingual a plus
- Must be pleasant, able to multi task, organized and dependable. Must be a team player.
- Must have basic medical terminology.
Requirement:
- Minimum 1 year experience in as medical office receptionist
- GI experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required How to
