Job Description

Medical Receptionist — Busy Multi-Specialty Medical Office We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Medical Receptionist to join our fast-paced multi-specialty medical office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping patients, multitasking, and being an important part of a collaborative healthcare team. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally in person and by phone Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments for multiple providers and specialties Check patients in and out; verify demographic, insurance, and referral information Collect co-pays, balances, and other payments accurately Answer high-volume phone calls and route messages to the appropriate clinical staff Maintain patient records and scan/upload documents into the electronic medical record (EMR) system Coordinate with providers, medical assistants, billing staff, and outside facilities Assist patients with forms, referrals, and general office questions Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming front-desk environment Follow all HIPAA, privacy, and office policies Qualifications Previous medical reception, front-desk, or healthcare customer-service experience preferred Experience with EMR systems, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and referrals is a plus Strong communication, customer-service, and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm, professional, and accurate in a busy environment Excellent organization, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities Proficiency with computers, phones, and standard office equipment Reliable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Supportive team environment Opportunities for professional growth Health benefits and paid time off, where applicable If you are compassionate, efficient, and enjoy making a positive difference in patients' experiences, we would love to hear from you.
