Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented medical receptionist to join our Oceanside office! This is a growing location, with a family oriented feel allowing for hands-on training and quick career growth. This is a full-time role. The schedule for this role is 9:00AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. At the core of the role, we are looking for a receptionist who can provide great customer service on a daily basis.
Responsibilities include:
Communicate the importance of physical and occupational therapy to our patients. Answer incoming calls promptly and in a customer service friendly manner. The office receives 500-600 calls on a daily basis handled by a team of care coordinators Encourage patients to keep their appointments, limiting cancellations. Schedule appointments for new and returning patients. Complete new patient registration. Collect applicable payments. Responsible for scanning, importing and handling faxes from doctor offices Coordinate with patients, therapists, and as required the insurance team, billing team and home care scheduling team Manage the physical therapists and occupational therapists schedules.
