Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Receptionist, where your energetic and welcoming attitude will set the tone for a positive patient experience. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they walk through the door Schedule appointments efficiently using electronic scheduling systems Verify patient insurance information, process payments, and handle medical collections with accuracy and confidentiality Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems to update patient information and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with medical billing and coding processes Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and managing appointment reminders Maintain organized medical records and ensure all documentation aligns with clinical confidentiality policies Skills Proven experience in medical administrative support within a dental or clinical setting with strong clerical skills Proficiency in Dentrix; familiarity with electronic health records management is essential Knowledge of health insurance procedures including medical billing, care plans, and insurance verification processes Ability to perform accurate 10-key typing and data entry swiftly while maintaining attention to detail Excellent customer service skills with bilingual capabilities preferred to serve diverse patient populations effectively Strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical confidentiality policies, and HIPAA compliance standards Competent in Microsoft Office applications for documentation review and communication purposes Effective communication skills for phone interactions and patient engagement in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism and accuracy Join us in delivering exceptional dental care by providing outstanding administrative support! Pay:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
