Radiology Support Assistant

Position Summary:

Provides administrative and clerical support within the Medical Imaging Department. Duties include answering phones, greeting and managing incoming outpatients, handling requests for image retrieval and organization. Obtaining Medical imaging orders, placing orders in Meditech, scanning orders and documentation into the PACS system. Interacting in a professional manner with patients, Radiologists, other Departments within and outside the facility.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

: High School education or equivalent. Knowledge of medical terminology, filing, good organizational skills preferred.
