Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression while managing check-in and check-out procedures. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments. Verify patient insurance information, process payments, and handle medical collections with accuracy and confidentiality. Maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring all documentation review and data entry are precise. Manage phone communication with professionalism, utilizing proper phone etiquette to address inquiries and direct calls appropriately. Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar medical office administrative role. Excellent computer skills Knowledge of health insurance procedures including Medicare and health information management policies. Ability to maintain clinical confidentiality policies while managing sensitive patient information accurately. Exceptional customer service skills combined with strong organizational abilities to handle clerical tasks efficiently.
