Medical Receptionist (Healthcare / Front Desk) Ambulatory Surgery Center Available shifts: 8 hours shift

  • 8:00pm Full Time, No Weekends!

Position Overview The Medical Receptionist is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a key role in delivering an outstanding patient experience. This position supports front desk operations, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient flow in a busy medical office. Key Responsibilities Greet and check in patients; manage front desk operations Coordinate complex provider surgical calendars Verify insurance and maintain accurate patient records Manage multiple EMR/EHR systems Collection of patient outstanding fees for scheduled procedure and/or payment responsibilities (Copay, Deductibe) Manage patient flow and support providers and clinical staff Handle medical records and sensitive patient information Provide administrative support as needed ​ Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a Medical Receptionist preferred Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems a plus, Nexgen and iMedicware Preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Reliable transportation required Spectrum Vision Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
