Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team in Beavercreek, OH. This full-time role is vital in creating a welcoming environment for patients while ensuring smooth administrative operations within the medical practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service, managing appointments, and supporting clinical staff with administrative tasks. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help foster a positive patient experience and contribute to efficient clinic operations. Hours are Monday- Friday, 8:30-4pm. Duties Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures Confirm upcoming visits via phone Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other confidentiality policies. Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries related to health insurance, or general clinic information. Assist with front desk duties such as patient check-out, payment processing, and maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area. Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar medical office administrative role. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and data entry. Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with clinical confidentiality policies such as HIPAA is required. Demonstrated clerical skills including filing, 10-key typing, and accurate data entry under time constraints.
