Job Title:
Dental Receptionist Private practice seeking a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our team. Our busy dental practice is looking for a friendly, organized, motivated Dental Receptionist to join our front-office team. If you love helping patients feel welcome, keeping a schedule running smoothly, getting those insurance companies to pay patient claims and being the calm center of a fast-moving office, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities:
  • Processing payments and insurance claims
  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Schedule and confirming appointments
  • Answering phone calls and directing inquiries
  • Verify, understanding and able to calculate dental insurance
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist (Not Medical)
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and dental procedures
  • Experience with and understanding dental insurance is a big part of this job
  • Familiarity with phone systems and office equipment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
