Hopewell Health Centers is a nationally accredited federally qualified health and community mental health center with 23 sites across TEN counties throughout Southeastern Ohio (Athens, Franklin, Gallia, Hocking, Jackson, Meigs, Perry, Ross, Vinton, and Washington). We are currently seeking a Front Office Specialist to join our dental team located in Chillicothe, OH . As the Front Office Specialist , you will be responsible for scheduling appointments with providers, checking in patients, verifying insurance information, personal information etc. This position is also responsible for entering information in the electronic health records system. The Front Office Specialist must be able to ensure payments received are balanced at day's end and is responsible for generating a billing claim for patient visits. Must be able to scan and manage incoming documents. What do we look for in our Front Office Specialists?? Eligible to work in the United Stated High School Diploma or GED General knowledge of General Office Equipment preferred; phones, scanners, copier, fax, etc. Excellent customer service skills and a positive and pleasant attitude. Good verbal and written communication skills; Must be able to work well with the general public as well as the providers and clinicians. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision Must adhere to HIPAA guidelines for confidentiality as well as Hopewell policies and procedures.
