Job Description

Position Summary:
The Administrative Associate/Medical Scheduler plays a key role as the first point of contact for patients at Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Specialists of Cincinnati. This position is responsible for ensuring a seamless, professional, and compassionate experience for patients from their first phone call through the checkout process. Duties include scheduling, verifying insurance, collecting payments, preparing documentation, and communicating clearly with clinical and administrative teams. The coordinator must maintain a high level of organization, patient confidentiality, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
General Front Desk Duties:
Answer phone calls using practice-approved script and etiquette. Monitor and respond to voicemails, emails, and text messages. Submit insurance claims. Scheduling patient appointments and surgeries. Verify and document insurance eligibility. Collect all payments prior to procedures. Monitor and follow up on claims. Maintain knowledge of full collect procedures and payment policies.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, email, and practice management systems (OMS). Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Committed to maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
