Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations in Cincinnati, Ohio. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming patient experience while keeping administrative tasks organized and accurate. The position involves coordinating patient intake, maintaining medical documentation, and handling routine office support in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patients and visitors, manage front-desk traffic, and provide courteous assistance throughout each interaction.
  • Schedule appointments, confirm upcoming visits, and help maintain an efficient daily calendar for the office.
  • Enter patient details into internal systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to confidentiality.
  • Organize, update, and retrieve medical records to support smooth clinical and administrative workflows.
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to routine questions, and direct messages to the appropriate staff members.
  • Prepare intake paperwork, verify basic information, and ensure required forms are completed before appointments.
  • Use Microsoft Word and other office tools to create, edit, and manage routine documents as needed. Requirements
  • Previous experience in a medical reception, healthcare office, or similar administrative support role.
  • Working knowledge of medical records processes and front-desk receptionist responsibilities.
  • Strong data entry skills with careful attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology used in a clinical or patient-facing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and comfort using standard office software.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, providers, and coworkers.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy setting.
