Job Description
We are looking for a personable and organized Medical Receptionist to support a busy healthcare office. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is well suited for someone who takes pride in delivering a positive patient experience while keeping front-office operations running smoothly. The role blends patient interaction, scheduling, and administrative coordination in a fast-moving clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors professionally, assist with front-desk needs, and create an orderly check-in experience.
- Manage incoming phone calls, address routine questions, and relay messages to the appropriate team members in a timely manner.
- Maintain, file, and retrieve patient documentation to help ensure medical records remain accurate and easy to access.
- Prepare letters, forms, and other routine office documents using Microsoft Word and related administrative tools.
- Arrange appointments, confirm visit details, and communicate office instructions clearly to patients.
- Handle daily reception tasks such as processing paperwork, receiving information, and supporting overall office workflow.
- Protect sensitive patient information by following established confidentiality and privacy practices.
