Job Description
Join the ViaSmiles team as a Dental Front Office Coordinator. We're a brand-new practice opening soon in the Polaris area, and this role is central to how our patients experience us from day one. We're looking for someone warm, reliable, and genuinely good with people. You're the kind of person who makes others feel at ease, stays composed when things get busy, and takes pride in doing things right. As one of our founding team members, you'll help set the tone for a practice being built from the ground up. Key Responsibilities Welcome every patient and make sure they feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit. Manage check-in, check-out, and scheduling in a high-volume environment. Verify insurance benefits, answer coverage questions, and walk patients through their costs clearly and honestly. Maintain accurate records and handle all patient information in accordance with HIPAA. Work confidently in dental software and electronic health records systems. Contact and follow up with leads in a timely, professional manner to help convert interest into scheduled appointments. Handle phones, patient communications, inventory, and treatment coordination with professionalism. Step in and support other team members where needed to keep the office running smoothly. Show up as a team player who genuinely cares about patients and colleagues alike. Qualifications Prior experience in a dental or healthcare front office is preferred; Open Dental experience is a plus. Solid understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy requirements. Clear, confident communicator; bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Calm under pressure with good problem-solving instincts. Dependable, positive, and motivated by helping people.
