Job Description
Perform various administrative duties in the office including managing medical records, coordinating patient referrals, scheduling appointments, and assisting with insurance and billing for authorizations and referrals. Reporting directly to the Clinical/Site/Practice Manager, this role is essential in performing secretarial duties for Providers and APPs in the departments as assigned.
Education, Work Experience and Licensure:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Certificate or associate degree in Medical Office Technology, Medical Assistant or Health Care Administration preferred, but not required
- Two to three years' experience in a service-related field preferred, but not required
