Job Description

Job Overview A well-established and growing dental office in Toledo is seeking a confident, dependable and highly organized dental receptionist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dental professional who enjoys helping patients, keeping the schedule productive and contributing to a positive team environment. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and efficiency Schedule appointments using dental clinic management software and coordinate with clinical staff to optimize daily operations Verify patient dental insurance coverage Prepare and submit insurance pre-determinations, including follow up on related denials and appeals Manage phone communication with patients, insurance providers, and vendors using excellent phone etiquette and clear communication skills Assist with dental administrative tasks such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and maintaining organized dental records Support clinical staff by reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy before submission or filing Skills Extensive experience in dental clinic administration with a strong understanding of dental office management practices Knowledge of dental insurance processes including medical billing, collections, claims and CPT coding Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies to safeguard patient information Excellent customer service skills combined with phone etiquette and professional communication abilities Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing dental records, filing systems, and appointment scheduling Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy in all tasks Competence in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and correspondence purposes Join our team to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by providing exceptional front desk support while ensuring smooth clinic operations. Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 40.0 per week
