This position will work M-F, 6:45am - 3:15pm. Previous experience in a medical office is preferred.General Summary:
Perform various clerical duties to support the operation of the office. Works under the supervision of the Physician/Office Manager.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Example of Essential Duties:
1) Scheduling appointments, lab tests, surgeries, etc. 2) Checking patients in for appointment, Printing AVS, referrals and orders. 3) Making next day appointment reminder calls. 4) Answering phones - courteously and professionally. 5) Taking messages accurately and relaying to appropriate personnel. Other Essential Duties May Include (but are not limited to): 6) Preparing and/or submitting charge tickets. 7) Preparing and cleaning exam rooms. 8) Sorting, filing and scanning patient charts. 9) Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Required:
Excellent communication, phone, and organizational skills required. Computer skills helpful. Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame. Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed. Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles. Adheres to all Toledo Clinic Policies and Procedures.Education:
HS diploma or GED.Preferred:
