Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team. In this pivotal role, you will be the friendly first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from appointment scheduling to check-out. Your expertise in medical administrative support, combined with excellent customer service skills, will help foster a positive environment while managing essential office operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality patient care and efficient clinic management. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service at the front desk Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using dental practice management software and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Verify insurance coverage, process payments, and handle insurance claims Manage patient records with accuracy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Answer multi-line phone systems with professionalism, maintaining excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Maintain organized filing systems for medical records and ensure timely documentation review and updates Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or Dental Receptionist with clinic or dental office experience Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly in accordance with HIPAA guidelines Bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse patient populations effectively Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and filing processes Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and positive attitude Join our team to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by providing outstanding administrative support in a lively dental practice. Pay:
$23.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
