Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our private practice team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while managing various administrative tasks within a medical office environment. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Responsibilities Greet and assist patients as they arrive at the clinic or office. Manage patient scheduling and appointments using electronic health record (EHR) Verify insurance information Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide clerical support including forms, typing, and managing multi-line phone systems. Assist with patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth operations within the clinic. Experience Previous experience in a medical office not required. Familiarity with EMR systems not required. Knowledge of medical terminology, health information management preferred but not essential. Basic computer skills are required.
