About us Rivergate Medical is a small business in Zanesville, OH. We are have two providers.
Our work environment includes:

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiries
  • Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or fees
  • Maintain patient records and update information as needed
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient clinic operations
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft
  • Familiarity with front desk operations in a medical or dental office setting
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with patients in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures is a plus
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
