Speech and Beyond Pediatric Therapy is seeking an

• referral and authorizations specialist to join our growing pediatric clinic. Candidates should email resume and pay requirements. Speech and Beyond is a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy clinic is Jenks, OK specializing in working with children (birth until age twenty one) with speech, language, gross motor, fine motor and learning challenges including (but not limited to) chromosomal disorders, autism, apraxia, cerebral palsy, brain injury and speech disorders. We offer a four day work week. This position is a 36-40 hour a week hourly position. PTO, matching retirement and health benefits are available after 60 days of employment. This position will be responsible for : Processing incoming referrals Contacting clients/parents to schedule Ability to build a rapport with current and potential clients Communicating with clinic staff and providers on documentation requirements and corrections Assisting with assorted front desk needs if authorization tasks are complete Assisting with billing needs if referral tasks are complete Covering the front desk as needed The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications : Clinical experience or prior scheduling experience strongly preferred, but not required At least one year experience processing referrals OR At least one year experience with a busy medical office or pediatric setting Will consider previous clinical experience or procedure scheduling experience in lieu of authorizations or referral experience Knowledge of medical policy requirements and limitations for multiple payers Organized Thrives in a fast-paced, loud environment Enjoys working with others Enjoys working with children Experience with i
