FULL TIME OPTIONS
(25-40 HOUR WEEKS) We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Front Office Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, completing front desk operations, and supporting administrative functions within a busy medical practice. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and a solid understanding of medical terminology and billing procedures. Bilingual abilities and clinic experience are highly valued to ensure effective communication with diverse patient populations. Shift Times At this time, we are exclusively looking for late morning-closing (6pm) shift coverage for Monday-Thursday with an earlier closure on Fridays (5pm). We are open to a variety of options in regards to exact start time each day and open to it not being every day for the right candidates.
Part Time Schedule Example:
Monday
- Thurs 12pm
- 6pm and Friday 12pm
- 5pm (29 hours).
Full Time Schedule Example:
Monday
- Thurs 9am
- 6pm (1 hour Lunch Break) and Friday 9am
- 5pm (39 hours).
Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently Schedule appointments using Advanced EMR systems. Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verification procedures Collect payments. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations Manage multi-line phone systems, answer patient inquiries, and provide excellent phone etiquette Assist with intake procedures, including data entry and document collection Review care plans and update patient information within electronic health records Perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies Support office management tasks including appointment reminders, follow-up calls, and general administrative support Experience Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar medical office role; clinic or dental office experience preferred. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems. Knowledge of medical billing, insurance verification, and health information management Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing proficiency (10 key typing) Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and communication abilities Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment High school diploma or equivalent This position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of a dedicated healthcare team committed to providing quality care through efficient administrative support.
