We are a private practice clinic with a single dentist. We know our patients and prefer focusing on relationships over volume. We are a small private practice office that is growing. We are looking for a bright, energetic person with good people, phone, and computer skills. Background in dental front office or assisting is preferred. Will interact with patients in the office and make phone calls regularly to schedule patients. 4 day work week, M
  • 6:45am-4pm, Tu-Th 6:45am-3pm. Please include your resume and a cover letter explaining why you would be a good fit for this position. Please do not call the office. Duties
  • Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients
  • Verify insurance coverage and collect necessary patient information
  • Assist with billing and payment processing
  • Maintain patient records and update information as needed
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns
  • Manage office supplies and maintain a clean reception area Skills
  • Proficiency in operating phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
  • Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix or other electronic dental record systems is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Knowledge of front desk procedures in a medical office setting
