Job Description

Job description: We are a family-oriented, patient-centered optometric practice and boutique optical with the absolute best patients. This role is multi-faceted. Responsibilities primarily include front desk reception duties, but will also include insurance billing, and may sporadically include minor optical and ophthalmic technician work. The role requires the ability to multitask and problem solve.
A typical day will include:
Answering the phone Making/confirming patient appointments Greeting patients upon arrival and ensuring paperwork is completed Verifying insurance benefits Posting payments (patient and insurance) Other general office duties (mailing statements, faxing prescriptions, etc.) We are looking for a patient care coordinator and receptionist with at least 1 year of experience either in optical, front desk in a medical setting, and/or optometry billing.
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
