Job Description

Assistant Baseball Coach

•Wilsonville High School

The start date for this position is February 12, 2027

Position Summary:

Assistant Baseball Coach is responsible for assisting the head coach with organizing the Baseball program at the assigned school.

Assists with conducting practices, motivating students, and instruction student athletes in game strategies and techniques.

Assists Head Coach (HC) with instructing players in the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the sport.

Organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities/exercises as directed by the head baseball coach.

Assist in the organization and supervision of the coaching staff to assure that the program is properly implemented.

Communicate effectively with all members of the school district and community.

Models sports-like behavior and maintains appropriate conduct towards players, officials and spectators.
