Job Description
Intake Specialist/Legal Assistant Handler Henning & Rosenberg, a Central Pennsylvania plaintiff personal injury law firm located in Harrisburg, is seeking an intake specialist/legal assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, communicating with others, and being part of a fast-paced, team-oriented office. Our intake team is often the first point of contact for individuals who have been injured and are looking for help. The right person will be compassionate, professional, organized, and confident communicating with potential clients while providing exceptional customer service. We are looking for someone who can serve our clients with vigor, tenacity, and the utmost integrity. Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply and are a major plus for this position but not required.
Key Responsibilities :
Answering new client calls Receiving and calling potential clients and guide them with the intake process, which involves obtaining history and documentation, sending out initial paperwork Open and set up new cases in the firm's case management system Generate and send form letters and other initial correspondence Follow up with potential clients as needed to obtain missing information or documentation Provide backup support for receptionist duties Perform other administrative and legal support tasks as neededSkills or Desired Qualities :
Friendly, professional, and positive attitude Empathetic and an excellent listener Strong customer service skills and a genuine desire to help others Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Self-motivated and able to take initiative Coachable, teachable, and willing to learn Team-oriented and able to work well with others Comfortable communicating with people by phone, email, and text Able to remain calm, professional, and compassionate when dealing with upset or stressed individuals Spanish-speaking is a major plusRequirements:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to prioritize tasks and independently ensure work is completed Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications Ability to learn and effectively use case management and other office software Reliable and dependable attendanceQualifications :
