Independent Medical Office dealing in
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Management Responsibilities:
Must know how to do Medication and MRI prior authorizations electronically. Learn to do procedure authorizations with training (Dr does many of them). Answer phones, schedule appointments of various types, communicate with email.
Schedule:
Busy practice 3 days a week, hours are 8:45 to 5:15 with 1/2 hour lunch shared with billing clerk. Other days would work to do 4 hours (possibly more if needed) to do insurance checks for future patients, prior authorizations, answer phone calls, pharmacy calls, collect copays. Urine drug screens are done, with no touch approach.
Requirements:
Must like dealing with people. Must be willing to do basic office cleaning shared with office/taking out trash.
