The ideal candidate will provide a warm and welcoming experience for children and their parents while efficiently managing front-desk operations in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Greet and check patients in and out in a friendly and professional manner. Verify and update patient demographics, insurance information, and contact details. Review and update patient health histories and ensure all required information is current. Answer multiple phone lines, assist parents with questions, and direct calls appropriately. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments. Make appointment confirmation calls and follow up with families regarding upcoming visits. Contact parents regarding outstanding balances, co-pays, deductibles, and other patient financial responsibilities. Collect co-pays and payments while maintaining accurate records. Assist with daily administrative tasks and support the dental team as needed. Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements. Provide compassionate customer service while helping create a positive experience for pediatric patients and their families. Ideal Candidate Previous dental or front-office experience preferred. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Comfortable speaking with parents about appointments and financial responsibilities. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Professional, friendly, patient, and dependable. Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced pediatric environment. Ability to handle phone calls, patient check-ins, scheduling, and financial conversations while maintaining a positive attitude. Experience with dental software and insurance verification is a plus.
