The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing administrative tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong apatite to learn and grow. The candidate is expected to willing to be cross trained to assist in dental treatments and sterilization as needed. Join our team as a Dental Receptionist where you can contribute to providing exceptional patient care while developing your skills in a supportive environment! Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process. Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for the dental team. Perform insurance verification. Handle clerical duties including filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records. Assist with medical coding and collections as necessary. Utilize software for patient management and scheduling tasks. Answer phone calls professionally, addressing patient inquiries and concerns effectively. Maintain a clean and organized reception area to enhance the patient experience. Assist in dental procedures, and sterilization as needed. Requirements high school or college graduation with strong apatite to learn and grow in dental field Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and staff effectively. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Proficiency in computer systems and office software applications. Strong clerical skills with attention to detail in managing patient records. Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of insurance verification processes and medical coding principles is preferred but not required.
