Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Part Time Dental Receptionist to join our dental team! In this role, you will be the welcoming face and organized voice of our practice, ensuring smooth daily operations from patient check-in to appointment scheduling. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for every patient while supporting the efficient functioning of the front office. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with dental office experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing exceptional patient service. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and enthusiasm Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments using dental practice management software such as Softdent Update patient information and insurance information into computer software program Collect payments, and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Manage single-line phone systems, answer inquiries promptly, and provide excellent customer service over the phone and in person Maintain organized dental records, update patient information, and review documentation for accuracy and completeness Skills Proven experience in a dental office environment with strong knowledge of dental terminology and dental billing procedures Knowledge of insurance verification processes, CPT coding, and HIPAA compliance standards Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and office management software Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and data entry tasks Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service abilities to handle patient inquiries professionally Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor in a busy clinic setting Join us as a Part Time Dental Receptionist where your enthusiasm for helping others meets your passion for administrative excellence!
