Job Description

Integrated Medical Care, an established orthopedic and physical therapy practice serving the Philadelphia area for over 25 years, is looking for a motivated, organized, and personable Medical Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. This is more than a traditional front desk position. We are looking for someone who wants to learn the business, take on increasing responsibility, and has the potential to grow into a leadership or management role within our practice. Responsibilities Schedule patients for physicians and physical therapists and actively manage schedules for efficient workflow Answer calls and emails from patients, medical professionals, insurance companies, attorneys, and other contacts Greet and check in patients and assist with patient intake Verify insurance benefits and eligibility Track patient attendance and follow up with patients who miss appointments or fall out of their treatment schedule Assist physicians and physical therapists with administrative needs Provide administrative support to the billing department Help maintain an organized, professional, and smoothly running office Who We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is dependable, organized, proactive, and professional , with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a busy medical office. Medical office experience is preferred. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes initiative, wants to learn, and is interested in growing with our practice. For the right person who demonstrates reliability, initiative, leadership, and good judgment, there is a real opportunity to take on greater responsibility and advance into a management role.
