Description Join a team where your organization, communication skills, and ability to connect with people truly matter. We are seeking an exceptional Dental Front Desk Administrator to join our dental practice. This is an important role for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a busy professional environment, and takes pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly. Our front office team is the connection between our patients and clinical team. From the first phone call to scheduling treatment and helping patients understand their appointments and financial responsibilities, you will play an important part in creating an outstanding patient experience. What You'll Do
Welcome patients and create a friendly, professional experience from the moment they contact our office.
Answer phones and assist patients with scheduling, questions, and concerns.
Schedule and confirm appointments while helping maintain productive provider schedules.
Help manage cancellations and proactively fill schedule openings.
Register new patients and maintain accurate patient, insurance, and contact information.
Communicate treatment estimates, insurance estimates, patient balances, and office financial policies.
Collect patient payments and assist with account questions.
Review schedules and patient accounts to identify needs before appointments.
Coordinate closely with doctors, hygienists, assistants, and administrative team members.
Help patients schedule recommended treatment and follow up on outstanding treatment needs.
Maintain clear and accurate documentation in our dental practice management software.
Participate in daily team huddles and contribute to the overall success of the practice.
Who We're Looking For
Warm, friendly, and genuinely enjoys helping people.
Highly organized and attentive to detail.
Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
A strong communicator both on the phone and in person.
Dependable and accountable for completing responsibilities accurately.
Confident discussing appointments, treatment, insurance estimates, and financial responsibilities with patients.
Able to remain professional and solution-focused when handling difficult situations.
Proactive - you notice what needs to be done and take initiative.
Comfortable learning technology and dental practice management systems.
A team player who understands that excellent patient care requires excellent communication.
Experience Previous dental front office experience is preferred, particularly experience with scheduling, dental insurance, treatment coordination, patient accounts, or dental practice management software. We also value exceptional candidates with strong experience in healthcare administration, medical offices, customer service, scheduling, insurance, hospitality, or other professional service environments. Why This Position Matters This is not simply an "answer the phone and check patients in" position. Our Front Desk Administrator plays an important role in the success of our patients, our team, and our practice. We are looking for someone who wants to become a trusted and valued member of our team - someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys learning and improving, and wants to contribute to a practice that strives to provide excellent patient care every day. If you are organized, personable, dependable, and looking for a dental office where your contribution matters, we would love to hear from you. Additional Details How To Identify Potential Job Scams
