As an office, we strive to provide the best care possible for our patients, and the receptionist/insurance coordinator plays a big role in this goal!
MUST HAVES
for this role include 1+ years of dental office experience, Eaglesoft and insurance billing knowledge, being a problem solver, fast learner, willing to take initiative, ability to work well independently and in a team setting. Duties include (but are not limited to): Insurance knowledge, including patients benefits and claim processing. Self-motivated and have the ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment with the utmost attention to detail Responsible for creating dental insurance claims the day services are rendered. Follow up on unpaid insurance claims. Ability to answer incoming calls to include, new patient calls, emergencies, scheduling patient appointments, requesting records, and follow up. Ensures patient paperwork and insurance is updated by the patients and is into the patients account in a timely manner. Greet and check patients in and out. Presentation of treatment plans and ability to explain insurance downgrades, and financial responsibility. Verify patient insurance benefits and input the correct information prior to the actual appointment scheduled.
