Job description:
This is a hybrid position that includes functioning as a front desk receptionist and as a medical assistant directly involved in patient care. At least 1 years of experience in an medical office is Prefer. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized, bilingual Spanish Preferred , patient friendly, and have the ability to multitask.
Responsibilities:
Function as a reliable front desk receptionist. This will include greeting patients, obtaining and verifying demographics and insurance eligibility, entering information in EMR, collecting payments, scheduling appointments, answering multiple phones and routing them to the appropriate person, calling and scheduling patients who are due for their routine visits, file, scan, fax, and email referrals documents as needed. Function as a back office MA when needed. This will include obtaining vitals and chief complaints, reviewing medications/history, preparing exam rooms, completing prior authorization paperwork. Maintain clean and healthy work environment
